About the MARC2RDA Transformation code in RIMMF6
RIMMF6 (R6) is the latest version of the RIMMF visualization tool for catalogers, training tool for educators, and prototype of what a cataloging interface could look like in an ‘Official RDA’ environment.
R6 uses the MARC2RDA transformation code to allow you to drag and drop a .MRC or MARCXML file onto “Marc 2 Rda” menu form. R6 then transforms that file into RDA (as RDF/XML), parses it into entity descriptions and opens it in a temporary Entity index. At which point, you can open an entity description and see its attribute values and links to other entities.
